About the Role

This is a hybrid role weighted toward development. You will keep NetSuite stable and well governed day to day and spend most of your time building: SuiteScript customizations, integrations, workflow automation and AI-enabled features that reduce manual work across Finance, Sales, Operations and Support.

You will work closely with business stakeholders to turn requirements into scalable solutions, and you will be expected to use AI tools both in how you build and in what you build.

The role is ~60% development and integration, 40% administration

  • Maintain sandbox and production environments, release management and the 2-per-year NetSuite release testing cycle.
  • Monitor script performance, governance limits, integration failures and data quality; resolve issues quickly.
  • Support month-end close, audit and compliance (SOX-style) requirements with accurate configuration and documentation.

Collaboration and support

  • Gather requirements from Finance, Sales, Ops and other teams, and translate them into technical designs.
  • Provide tier-3 support, user training and clear documentation.
  • Mentor junior admins and analysts, and contribute to NetSuite roadmap planning.

Editor’s Market Perspective (Our Custom Analysis)

Why This Position Matters

This opening may suit candidates who can demonstrate experience relevant to the employer's published requirements. Its strongest career signal is the scope of the work itself — particularly Design, build, test and deploy SuiteScript 2.x solutions (User Event, Client, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, Suitelet, RESTlet and Workflow Action scripts). — rather than a generic title alone.

Resume & Application Strategy

For the application, connect specific examples from your experience to the responsibilities and qualifications in the employer's description. Quantify outcomes from comparable work, and place the most relevant evidence near the top of the resume. When the employer explicitly names tools, platforms, leadership scope, or domain experience, use those source terms accurately and in context.
